I heart teaching

It's been a long while since I updated my blog. I've been rather busy at work and the last thing I wanna do when I come home from work is bitch about my client on my blog. So I guess blogging kinda takes the backseat till off peak comes.

Anyway I started volunteering at my church tuition club yesterday. It was heaps of fun. Gosh. My students are so cute. Most of them are still quiet. Except one boy who talks a lot and tries his very best to avoid having to write more words than he has to. And I must have told him a hundred times short forms are not acceptable as answers.

At the end of the class they were all busy rushing off and before they handed in their work I noticed they all forgot to write their names. So I asked them to write their names la. And he asked me "Teacher can write short form ah" and seeing that it was only his name, I said ok la.

So he wrote "LKH" on the paper and zoomed off.

Kids. And I have this boy who's super guai. This girl who's quite funny. This other boy who is super quiet blur. And one who didn't turn up, probably because she has replacement class on Saturday.

So yes, I absolutely LOVE teaching.

On another note, my stupid Dell totally gave me problems. I was finished with a piece of work and before I could hit save, it hung. And after sorting out the excel hoping I could save a copy of the files that were autosaved, the whole machine hung so I had to force shut down the piece of cheap plastic. So there you go. My office laptop sucks. GTS better swap the laptop real soon. They said end of March. And if they swap it to another Dell I'm gonna resign straight away.
